Hi! I’m Beth!
I'm a knitter, crocheter, mender and yarn shop co-owner at Around the Table Yarns in Shaker Heights, OH.
I have seen all kinds of “solutions” for storing our tools:
The zip case that holds ALL my crochet hooks, but has to be dumped out to find the right size
The messy canvas holder for my circular needles that looks awful and hides in my closet
The custom interchangeable case that doesn’t fit the extra needles or cords that you need
The soft-sided double points case that can’t be secured when it is full
The jumbled cigar box full of markers and notions
and more besides…
What I wanted is something that could be stored on a bookshelf, expanded as my tool collection grows, and organized exactly as I wanted it to be, and then re-organized if I wanted, too.
And I wanted it to look good.
The ToolBook was designed by me specifically to help knitters, crocheters, and other fiber artists stay organized while embracing sustainability. It includes a carefully researched label system for a wide range of crafting tools and a patent-pending cardstock sleeve to fully utilize the vinyl binder pages.
In developing the ToolBook, I started Stitchcraft Solutions, as a parent company that will also support my future projects. The ToolBook has let me partner with other US businesses, including small, woman-owned companies so that our flagship product gives back to our community and keeps our carbon footprint smaller.

Stitchcraft Solutions was developed by avid knitter and yarn store owner, Beth Billings. Her years of experience as a fiber artist helped her identify fiber artists #1 problem, finding the right tool. The Tool Book is designed to organize a large collection of tools for a variety of fiber art practices.
